Fall is an exciting season at The Morton Arboretum and a favorite time for many who visit. Guests from far and wide are drawn to the Arboretum to savor the magic of the season as the leaves of the Arboretum’s woodlands and global tree collections slowly turn into a rich symphony of color.

Dog Admission Day

Bring your favorite canine to the Arboretum for Tails on the Trails on Sunday, September 8 to enjoy the fall colors, shop a pet expo, and participate in dog-friendly activities.

Cider and Ale Festival

Sample ciders and seasonal beers amid the rich fall colors found around Meadow Lake at the Cider and Ale Festival on Saturday, October 5.

Glass Pumpkin Patch

Shop one-of-a-kind glass creations and watch glass-blowing demonstrations by artists at the 14th annual Glass Pumpkin Patch, Friday, October 11 through Sunday, October 13.

Fall Color 5K Run and Walk

Fall running season kicks off with the annual Fall Color 5K Run and Walk on Saturday, October 26. Participants will follow a scenic, rolling course through the woodlands of the Arboretum’s East Side.
