Learn to take beautiful nature images in this one-day photography workshop for beginners at The Morton Arboretum. With a mix of classroom and practice time, students will build competency in foundational photography skills, including:

  • choosing the right camera settings,
  • creating compelling compositions,
  • landscape and macro basics, and
  • the use of natural light to enhance images.

With the lovely grounds of the Arboretum as your canvas, practice each skill with support from your instructor. This workshop is suitable for beginning photographers with DSLR, point-and-shoot, or smartphone cameras.

This program meets in person at the Arboretum.

What to Know
