Colin Merdian is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Certified Personal Trainer and Senior Fitness Specialist, Spartan Race as a Spartan SGX coach, Precision Nutrition as a Certified Nutrition Coach, and as a Program Design Specialist through Fitness Mentors. He has over 12 years of experience as a personal trainer and owns his own gym. His training model is to work hard, be consistent, and never stop learning. He also believes that in order to stay motivated and excited about working out, you need to have fun and keep things interesting. He makes it a point to keep workouts fresh with new exercises and challenges so there’s never a dull moment in the gym. As he has gained more experience, he has leaned more into mobility and corrective exercise, as most of his clients are older and require more assistance in pain management and better movement mechanics.
