Early Childhood Accessibility Open House

Learn how The Morton Arboretum works with families to support participation in early childhood programs.

Content Detail

At The Morton Arboretum, we believe that all children should have the opportunity to participate in outdoor activities and reap the benefits of time spent in nature. In this family event, you’ll be able to use adaptive tools and approaches to explore nature hands-on. You can talk with our early childhood educators about how they have tailored learning experiences to meet the individual needs of their students. Our team of educators will also be on hand to hear from you and explore how we can support your child’s participation in The Morton Arboretum’s early childhood programs.

Please reach out to childrensgarden@mortonarb.org with any questions or accommodation needs. An indoor quiet space is available for members and guests who want to use a calm, private area during the program.

This event for families with young children is free; registration is required.

This program meets in person at the Arboretum.
