Explore the science of the seasons through story times, experiments, and short hikes in this program at The Morton Arboretum. Budding scientists will learn developmentally appropriate STEM principles and use tools to dig deeper into the world around them.

This program meets in person at The Morton Arboretum.

Health and Safety: Program participants must abide by the Arboretum’s health and safety guidelines. Guidelines are subject to change, so please check back frequently.

Age: Children ages 3 to 5 years. An adult must accompany the child.

Megan Sneyd works with the early childhood program Little Trees, where she shares her love for nature with some of the Arboretum’s youngest stewards. She takes every opportunity to help people develop and strengthen their own connection with nature.

  • Dress for the weather; layers are best!
