Once your child is registered, you will be emailed a Welcome Letter, Registration Form, and a Medical Authorization Form if applicable, to send back before camp begins. For the safety of participants and staff, health protocols regarding the new coronavirus, including face masks, wellness checks, and daily disinfection of high-touch materials and spaces will be utilized.
Masks are not required, and are optional to be worn during the summer science camp program. They are recommended for camp participants who are not fully vaccinated, and any camp participants who choose to mask during camp, will be fully supported by camp staff during their session of camp. Arboretum staff are closely monitoring the local transmission level of COVID-19, and if the transmission level moves to level high, participants will be required to wear masks when in indoor settings. This policy is in accordance with CDC and American Camp Association guidance for COVID-19. Updated protocols and details regarding the current transmission level is located in the camp parent letter, which is sent to participants one week before their camp session. For additional questions or concerns, please contact Meghan Wiesbrock, Manager of School and Camp Programs.
The Arboretum strives to provide accessible experiences for all children. Contact the camp and scout supervisor at 630-719-4890 or email@example.com to discuss your child’s needs prior to registration.
