Go on a sweet family adventure to discover (and taste!) the fascinating natural history of maple trees.

Experience the spring thaw on the trails at The Morton Arboretum, and learn about the many gifts of maple trees on a half-mile-long, family-paced hike through the East Woods.

This program meets in person at the Arboretum.

Emilian Geczi, PhD, manages the Arboretum’s early childhood and family programs, and he enjoys sharing the wonders of trees and nature with family program participants and Children’s Garden visitors.

Laura Kamedulski, coordinator for youth and family programs, The Morton Arboretum

Laura Kamedulksi leads programs for early childhood ages and supervises the Arboretum’s youth volunteers. She is a forest therapy guide and enjoys helping people connect with trees, nature, and the land.
