Sensory-Friendly Times offer a modified Children’s Garden experience for those who need a quieter environment. Capacity is limited to 75 people on select Mondays from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.
Sensory support bags containing headphones, fidgets, visuals, and other calming tools are available to borrow during your visit at no cost and by leaving an ID. Bags can be checked out in the Visitor Center or from any Children’s Garden staff member or volunteer.
The Children’s Garden works continually to remove barriers to participation in all programs. Learn more about sensory support resources that families can use to prepare for a visit.
Sensory-Friendly Times are included with Arboretum admission. Advance sign-up is required.

Families are permitted to bring additional family members to the Children’s Garden during Sensory-Friendly Times.
To visit during Sensory-Friendly Times, you must reserve a spot for each family member in your group. Sign-up must be completed online and in advance of your visit.
