If you like to work with your hands, this program at The Morton Arboretum is for you! Learn safe hand tool techniques for working with wood and create projects that reflect your own style and taste. Themes change monthly.

Space is limited. Program tickets are available in the Children’s Garden for the day of your visit only. Tickets cannot be purchased over the phone, online, or for another day.

This drop-in program meets on-site at the Arboretum.

Emilian Geczi, PhD, manages the Arboretum’s early childhood and family programs, and he enjoys sharing the wonders of trees and nature with family program participants and Children’s Garden visitors.

What to Know

Adult must accompany child. This program is held outdoors, weather permitting. Dress for the weather.
