Art in the Garden (in person)

Inspire children’s creativity through nature.

Content Detail

Let nature inspire creativity as children explore various art mediums in this hands-on, discovery workshop. Participants will create their own nature-inspired art piece to take home. Art mediums change monthly.

This drop-in program meets on-site at the Arboretum. Space is limited. Program tickets are available in the Children’s Garden for the day of your visit only. Tickets cannot be purchased over the phone, online, or for another day.

Instructor: Cindy Moran

Health and Safety: Program participants must abide by the Arboretum’s health and safety guidelines. Guidelines are subject to change, so please check back frequently.

Cindy Moran is an avid gardener and art educator who assists in the daily operation of the Children’s Garden while also supporting the volunteers. She enjoys interacting with visitors and facilitating family programs, which provides her with an opportunity to teach informally and share her love of nature with others.

What to Know

Adult must accompany child.

Held outdoors, weather permitting.

Dress for the weather.
