If you like to work with your hands, this program is for you! Learn safe hand tool techniques for working with wood and create projects that reflect your own style and taste. Themes change monthly.

This drop-in program meets on-site at the Arboretum.

Space is limited and available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Reservations must be made in the Children’s Garden on the day of your visit only. Reservations cannot be made over the phone, online, or for another day.

Emilian Geczi, PhD, manages the Arboretum’s early childhood and family programs, and he enjoys sharing the wonders of trees and nature with family program participants and Children’s Garden visitors.

What to Know

This program is held outdoors, weather permitting. Dress for the weather.

An adult must accompany the child.
