Explore nature in winter in a four-week program at The Morton Arboretum for children ages 18 to 35 months.

Content Detail

In this four-week outdoor adventure at The Morton Arboretum, young explorers will play, hike, read stories, and participate in other fun nature activities. Each week, program participants will explore seasonal topics and investigate nature all around them. Adults will receive tips to continue exploration at home.

This program meets in person at The Morton Arboretum.

Instructor: Kathryn Neuffer, supervisor of early childhood programs, The Morton Arboretum

Age: Children ages 18 to 35 months. An adult must accompany the child.

Kathryn Neuffer has a background in early childhood and special education. She enjoys introducing the Arboretum’s youngest visitors to the wonders of the outdoors and helping to increase children’s curiosity toward the natural world through play and hands-on experiences.
