Use nontraditional techniques to produce creative—and sometimes surprising—results with your camera in this nature photography workshop at The Morton Arboretum. Nature photography takes many forms, from landscapes to macro and everything in between. Put a spin on these approaches by experimenting with novel techniques and unusual tools such as:
- intentional camera movement,
- zoom effect,
- selective focus,
- panning, and
- forced perspective.
In this workshop, participants will learn new ways to play with their DSLR cameras and digital images through classroom lectures and field time with the instructor. You will create a photograph that will have your friends asking, “Wow! How did you do that?” In the final, online session, get personalized feedback on your images, learn from your classmates, and see nature in a new way.
This program meets online and in person at the Arboretum.
