Aerial Tree Yoga (in person)

Experience yoga while suspended from the strong branches of oak trees.

Content Detail

Stretch, strengthen, and release stress while having fun, cocooned in a hammock suspended from the trees! Aerial yoga offers wonderful benefits to the mind, body, and soul, and is suitable for beginners as well as experienced yogis.

This program meets in person at The Morton Arboretum.

Instructor: Natalie Schilke

Health and Safety: Program participants must abide by the Arboretum’s health and safety guidelines. Guidelines are subject to change, so please check back frequently.

Natalie Schilke, certified yoga instructor and volunteer services assistant, The Morton Arboretum

Natalie Schilke has been practicing yoga since 2010 and blends her love for nature and wellness into all of her teachings. She is a registered yoga teacher and also holds a certification in children’s yoga, aerial yoga, and horticultural therapy.

What to Know

Hammocks provided.

Bring your yoga mat and a water bottle.

Held entirely outdoors.

Wear shorts or pants that go past the knee and a shirt that covers the armpits.

Weight restriction: must be under 220 pounds

Is suitable for beginners as well as experienced yogis.

Section A: Thursday, June 1, 2023, 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

Section B: Monday, June 5, 2023,  11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Section C: Thursday, June 15, 2023,  6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m

Section D: Monday, June 19, 2023, 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
