Stretch, strengthen, and release stress while having fun, cocooned in a hammock suspended from the trees!  Aerial yoga offers wonderful benefits to the mind, body, and soul, and is suitable for beginners as well as experienced yogis. 

COVID-19 Precautions:

  • If you are unwell, or have been in contact with someone who is unwell in the last two weeks, you must stay home. A full refund will be issued on request.
  • Participants must bring face masks. Face masks are required while participating in Arboretum adult learning programs.
  • Maintain a distance of six feet from others whenever possible.

Wear comfortable clothes that allow for easy movement. This class will meet outside. Please check the forecast and come prepared for the weather with sunscreen and layering options to match the temperature.

Prerequisites:

Beginner friendly; no yoga experience required. Weight restriction: must be under 220 pounds.

Supplies:

Hammocks provided.
Bring your yoga mat and a water bottle.
Wear shorts/pants past the knee and a shirt that covers the armpits.

Natalie Schilke has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and blends her love for nature and wellness into all of her teachings. Natalie is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500) and also holds a certification in Children’s Yoga, Aerial Yoga, and Horticultural Therapy.
