Savannah brings her soil ecology research, management, and mentorship skills to her role as a Research Assistant in Soil Ecology.
Savannah has valuable experience in soil ecology research both in the field and the laboratory. As an undergraduate, she joined a soil science laboratory, investigating microbial nitrogen cycling in agricultural systems. She helped collect and analyze data for the team and performed her own independent study project.
At the Arboretum, Savannah combines her soil ecology research skills with her management and mentorship experience, to help Dr. Midgley coordinate soil ecology lab activities and carry out ongoing research projects.
