Partners are governments, organizations, agencies, associations, individuals, landowners, and land managers who work with CRTI to support and improve the health of the region’s trees.
CRTI’s work groups address gaps in the care of the Chicago region’s urban forest, focusing on specific areas such as tree planting, stewardship, research, education, policy, skill and training development, and resource needs.
In partnership with the City of Chicago’s Department of Public Health, CRTI provides community groups in Chicago with training, resources, and funding to enrich the urban canopy and build a community of tree advocates.
