Celebrate chocolate’s deeply rooted tree history at our chocolate weekend. Visit, taste, and buy specialty chocolates and treats!

The Morton Arboretum champions all trees, and this winter we are celebrating a giving tree, the cacao tree, which gives us the delight of chocolate. Sample an array of chocolates and unique items with a chocolate twist. Pick up a Valentine’s gift or simply treat yourself.

Members can purchase a ticket to beat the crowds and shop early on Friday, February 4, at our exclusive Member Preview Event. The Chocolate Weekend Vendor Expo is free with regular Arboretum admission. Please be sure to purchase or reserve your timed-entry tickets in advance.

For Arboretum members only: Get first access to shop and sample at the annual Chocolate Weekend vendor fair.

Purchase tickets for 5:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. entry on Friday, February 4. The Ginkgo Cafe will be open from 5:00 – 8:30 p.m. Serving light snacks, sandwiches, salads, and more. The Ginkgo Restaurant will not be open for dinner.

Ticket price includes a specialty Hot Chocolate with Baileys, White Hot Chocolate with Nocino, or a wine or beer of your choice

Members can attend Chocolate Weekend for free on Saturday, February 5 and Sunday, February 6 by reserving a timed-entry pass.
