Visit The Morton Arboretum on Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27, to see traditional Lucha Libre, or Mexican wrestling, during the Celebración de los Árboles festival.
Lucha Libre matches will take place in four rounds of six to seven matches each across the festival weekend, with professional luchadores competing in the ring, and a live MC calling the action and entertaining the crowd. The final match on Sunday afternoon will crown the World Champion of Trees, and the winning luchador will be awarded a custom tree-themed championship belt created exclusively for the event.
Between matches, meet the luchadores, get autographs and photos, and browse Lucha Libre merchandise.
Lucha Libre is included with Arboretum admission and all Arboretum guests can watch the matches from the lawn surrounding the performance area.
