Discover the resources that can bring trees to life in your classroom with a visit to The Morton Arboretum this summer.
Teacher Tuesdays are back this summer, June 1 through September 28, providing free admission to current educators to explore the Arboretum to learn about its many educational resources. Classroom teachers, homeschool teachers, and pre-service student teachers from preschool through college qualify for the program. Free Teacher Tuesday passes must be obtained in advance by registering online before 4:00 p.m. on the Friday before your planned visit. Pass availability is on a first-come-first-serve basis, and capacity may vary each week. Tickets are not available at the gatehouse.
To obtain a teacher pass, complete the interest form, which will open each Wednesday before the next available Tuesday and will close when capacity is reached or at 4:00 p.m. each Friday. Registrants will receive an email confirmation, indicating if space is available on the Tuesday they requested. Tickets will be sent by email on Monday with the free admission pass. Teachers may arrive any time during their scheduled Tuesday. Please note that the completion of the interest form does not guarantee the availability of passes.
When completing the interest form, teachers must include their school or district email address as verification of their teaching status. Teachers without a district or school email (e.g. homeschool teachers), must complete the form then email Megan Kuhl-Horbin (firstname.lastname@example.org) with their teaching status information.
Please note: Free admission is valid for current teachers only, not for additional guests or children. Additional guests or children must obtain timed-entry tickets online in advance of their visit. Tickets are not available at the gatehouse. Get tickets here.
