Making Cards Using East Asian Motifs

Create seasonal greeting cards inspired by East Asian designs.

Join educator Yvonne Wolf to experience East Asian art. Participants will learn about the three principles of order in the East Asian world and make four greeting cards using paper, templates, scissors, and glue. This experience will enrich your appreciation of the seasons in the East Asian world. Envelopes are included.

This program meets in person at the Arboretum.

Educator Yvonne Wolf makes Chinese and East Asian culture accessible and relatable to a wider audience. She speaks at libraries, museums, and community centers about East Asian arts, culture, and people. She has lived in four countries, visited over 25 countries, speaks three languages (English, Chinese [Mandarin], Danish) and has studied three others (Spanish, Japanese, and Greek).
