Green Cleaning with Herbs

Make your own household cleaning products that use the power of herbs.

Content Detail

Herbs have antibacterial, antiseptic, and anti-fungal properties that can help keep your home clean without the use of chemicals.

Guided by an instructor, participants will combine herbs with other natural cleaning agents to make household cleaning solutions that clean effectively and protect from germs. The class will also explore the disinfecting properties of herbs and essential oils in detail, including how to combine them safely.

In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn to:

  • Make and use herb-infused vinegar
  • Create mixtures to safely scrub ceramics
  • Craft an effective laundry and dishwashing soap

Get ready for spring cleaning with new ways to use herbs!

Supply lists and recipes will be provided in class.
