Chicago Region Trees Initiative

Get Involved with the Chicago Region Trees Initiative

Improve your community and help create a greener future by taking action to plant, protect, and care for trees.

Trees in the Chicago region need your help. When you speak up for trees, volunteer to help plant them, or educate others about their value and benefits, you can make a difference for your community and its trees.

Everywhere the Arboretum’s Chicago Region Trees Initiative (CRTI) works, we depend on the collaboration of volunteers and local residents as well as professionals and partners. With your help, we can improve the health, diversity, and equitable distribution of trees in the Chicago region and throughout Illinois.
