Transform your home garden into a peaceful space. In this class, identify visual cues of places that nurture the spirit and invite one to take a meditative stroll, to sit and relax with a cup of tea, to read and reflect, to stretch, to meditate, or to write. Draw inspiration from different meditative elements and view examples of historic and monastic gardens to find the meditative garden styles that work for you. Translate those elements into a working drawing and discuss sustainable gardening principles that will create gardens to nurture the spirit and the environment.
