Nature is filled with materials and tools that can be used to make many fun and useful things! Come join us under the trees to learn some hands-on skills and build with natural materials. Craft changes each month.

Supplies are limited. This program is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

This drop-in program meets on-site at the Arboretum.

Instructor: Sal DiFatta, children’s garden assistant, The Morton Arboretum

Age: Children ages 3 to 8 years. An adult must accompany the child.

Sal DiFatta is an avid gardener and agricultural educator who assists in the daily operation of the Children’s Garden. He enjoys interacting with visitors, working with youth volunteers, and sharing his love of nature and gardening.

What to Know

An adult must accompany the child.

This program is held outdoors, weather permitting. Dress for the weather.
