Plein Air Community Meet-Up: Drawing and Painting

Bring your sketchbook for plein air drawing and painting in the Arboretum’s seasonal landscapes.

Content Detail

Join us for a relaxed, community-focused plein air drawing and painting meetup held on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. All skill levels are welcome, whether you are picking up a paintbrush for the first time or you are a seasoned sketcher.

We’ll meet at the Thornhill Education Center before heading out into the Arboretum’s beautiful landscapes to find a spot to draw or paint. Bring your own art supplies if you have them, but we will also have portable easels, watercolor kits, ink, and paper for anyone who needs materials.

This is a bi-monthly, open-studio-style gathering where you can connect with fellow artists, build your practice, and be inspired by the changing seasons.

This group meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month.

This program meets in person at the Arboretum.
