Weather Cancellation

Classes run rain or shine, unless there is a threat of severe weather. If severe weather is forecast please call 630-719-7979 for updates on weather-related cancellations.

Education Program Policies

Your visit to The Morton Arboretum is implied consent for the use of your likeness by the Arboretum without limit in any and all media, for any purpose.

Adult education programs at the Arboretum are intended for participants ages 18 and up. Program start times are listed in U.S. Central time unless otherwise specified.

Little Trees early learning program, Summer Science Camps, conferences and symposia, School Field Trip programs and Winter Outreach programs have specific refund and cancellation policies. For more information visit the fees and policies pages listed within each of these program pages.

For most adult, youth, and family programs, you may cancel your registration up to five business days before the date and time of the program. Registration fees of $25.00 or more are subject to a $5.00 processing charge. Cancellations within five business days of the program date/time will not be refunded. To cancel your enrollment, call or email the registrar’s office at 630-719-2468 or registrar-ed@mortonarb.org.

Refunds will be issued by check if the original payment was made by cash or check, or by credit to the same credit card used to make the original payment.

Enrollment fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable on and after the program’s start date.

The Morton Arboretum cannot refund fees or sessions missed due to participant illness or other personal situations.

Participants will be issued a full refund in the event that The Morton Arboretum cancels a program for any reason.

Museums for All Scholarships

A limited number of partial education scholarships are now available for participants eligible for the Museums for All program or anyone who might otherwise not be able to attend a learning opportunity at the Arboretum. To request a scholarship, please contact the Arboretum Registrar’s Office at least three business days before the program begins.
