Attend a four-course dinner while wearing a blindfold and appreciate a chef-curated menu without your sight.
You’ll encounter familiar foods from a new perspective with a unique dining experience that sparks conversation, curiosity, and a deeper appreciation of the culinary arts.
The menu will feature a handcrafted seasonal appetizer, a tasting-sized pasta or grain dish, your choice of a meat or vegetarian main entrée featuring winter flavors, and a deconstructed dessert.

Dining in the Dark is a unique sensory experience designed to heighten your sense of taste, smell, and touch by removing the sense of sight.
Here’s what you can look forward to:
- The emcee will provide instructions on how the event works and cover safety guidelines
- Each guest will be provided with a comfortable blindfold
- Enjoy a curated menu designed to surprise and delight your palate
- Flavors and textures will be emphasized to create a memorable experience
- Dietary restrictions will be accommodated if noted in advance
- Expect laughter and conversation as you navigate this new way of dining
- Our staff will be available throughout the evening to assist with any needs

- The experience typically lasts 90 minutes, including introductions and dining

Accessibility
Accessible parking is available in parking lot P-1, which features a permeable concrete paver system that allows rainwater to pass through. These pavers are uneven, but the accessible parking spaces and pathways from parking lot P-1 to the Visitor Center have smooth pavers. Manual wheelchairs are available for loan by visiting the Information Desk inside the Visitor Center, as are other aids for guests with special needs. Accessible restrooms are available in the Visitor Center and the nearby West Pavilion.
