On Thursday, October 15, 2026, spend a fall evening sampling more than 80 varieties of wine as you stroll through The Morton Arboretum’s Gerard T. Donnelly Grand Garden. Admire the changing leaves as you sip and enjoy the seasonal displays of colorful pumpkins, pansies, and chrysanthemums along the garden paths.

Once you’ve sampled and selected your favorite wines, place an order to pick up the wine of your choosing at a later date. Each wine purchase you make supports The Morton Arboretum’s mission, with 10% of all wine sales being donated back to the Arboretum.

The Fall Wine Tasting is the perfect way to enjoy autumn outdoors with friends and family, enjoying the crisp air and vibrant seasonal colors.

Fall Color Concessions

As part of the Arboretum’s Fall Color Festival, special seasonal concessions are available in Arbor Court every Friday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., starting on Friday, October 2, 2026.

Enjoy a delicious lineup of autumn favorites—including freshly popped kettle corn, taffy apples, barbecue pulled pork sandwiches, apple cider doughnuts, and hot apple cider.

Ginkgo Café

Food and beverages are also available at the Ginkgo Café, located in the Visitor Center. From 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the Ginkgo Café offers prepackaged salads and sandwiches, bakery items, espresso beverages, hot tea, and drip coffee.

The Ginkgo Restaurant will be closed during the event.

Accessibility

The Fall Wine Tasting event takes place in the Arbor Court and Meadow Lake Trail areas. Paved walkways throughout this area are accessible to wheelchairs and walkers. The tasting tables will be stationed on the pavement, or on the grass within ten feet of the path.

The nearest accessible parking is in parking lot P-1, an environmentally friendly parking lot with uneven pavers.
