In her role as CRTI’s Stewardship Manager, Trinity Pierce collaborates with communities to foster awareness of the importance and benefits of trees.
Pierce focuses on hands-on outreach, which fosters action through tree plantings and ongoing tree maintenance in order to build a healthier, more diverse urban forest. She first embarked on her conservation journey during barefoot summers exploring the woodland, bogs, and roadside wildflowers of northern Wisconsin. She thrives on leading and learning alongside volunteers of all ages.
Pierce has designed and implemented restoration projects from the western mountains to the Midwest, from rural to urban ecosystems. She also has a background in history, ecological restoration, and urban green space reconciliation—all of which inform her current role as a steward of tree research and protection at the Arboretum.
