CRTI Contract Grower Program

The Chicago Region Trees Initiative seeks bids from tree nurseries for a five-year contract growing relationship.

The Chicago Region Trees Initiative, a program of The Morton Arboretum, is accepting sealed bids for Tree Production and Delivery on a 5 year timeframe from 2025–2030.

CRTI Contract Growing: RFP for 15 gal containerized trees due Friday, August 15, 2025

The Arboretum will be accepting sealed bids for the production of up to 2,000, 15 gallon container-grown or containerized trees with delivery in 4–5 years (species depending).

Multiple vendors may be selected to achieve the total number of trees required.

Tree Quantity Minimum per nursery: 500 trees over 5 years

Requests for Proposal for 5-year contracts for 15 gallon containerized trees are due on or before 5:00 p.m., Friday, August 15, 2025
