Lisle, Illinois (November 5, 2021) – The Morton Arboretum has been named one of the Chicago Tribune Top Workplaces 2021. The selection is based solely on employee feedback gathered through an anonymous third-party survey that measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization, including values, connection and appreciation, among others.
“This award is particularly notable in a year when employees faced numerous challenges due to the pandemic and remained resilient and passionate about the Arboretum and their contributions to its success,” said Nancy Peske, director of human resources. “It is well-deserved recognition for their contributions to making the Arboretum a place where employees feel engaged, appreciated and fulfilled.” She added that the Arboretum’s five Employee Core Values are central to the engaging and collaborative workplace:
- Be Inclusive
- Take Ownership
- Work Together
- Keep Learning
- Make the Arboretum Exceptional
