Indoor Venues

  • Celebrate your special day with an outdoor ceremony on The Morton Terrace, followed by an indoor reception in the Arbor Room overlooking an expansive landscape and beautiful stone terrace. (West Side; seats 130).

  • Host your ceremony or predinner reception in the Founder’s Room, formerly the library of the Morton family mansion. The room features ornately carved woodwork, a marble fireplace, and stained glass windows that provide an elegant setting. (West Side; can accommodate 100 for ceremony and 130 for predinner reception).

  • With floor-to-ceiling windows, the Ginkgo Room offers breathtaking four-season views of Meadow Lake. Guests can enjoy cocktails in Orientation Hall, dinner and dancing in the Ginkgo Room, and a picturesque lake view from the outdoor terrace. (East Side, seats 300).

  • Located in the West Pavilion of the Visitor Center, the Sycamore Room has expansive glass walls overlooking the lovely Ground Cover Garden. This warm and inviting space is perfect for intimate groups. (East Side; seats 75).

Outdoor Venues

  • This magical garden built in honor of the Arboretum’s Centennial creates an elegant celebration space. With a central lawn for seating, a terrace for wedding ceremonies, and delightful water features, it will be a place to make lifelong memories. This newly reimagined space will be available for ceremonies and paired with the Ginkgo Room starting in 2023. (East Side).

  • Captivate guests with the refined elegance of the Fragrance Garden. This intimate gardenaccented with a charming trellis, fountain, and pondhas vivid colors, alluring textures, and fragrant plants that enhance its beauty and grace. The Fragrance Garden is a perfect location for small ceremonies and cocktail receptions. (West Side).

  • This picturesque location, encircled by trees, provides an exceptional view overlooking the beauty of peaceful Meadow Lake. This venue is paired with the Ginkgo Room reception site for 2022 events and White Pine Pavilion for 2023 events. (East Side).

  • This breathtaking three-season pavilion is located just south of The Gerard T. Donnelly Grand Garden. The open-air event space can accommodate a wedding ceremony, dining, and dancing. The outdoor patio is perfect for cocktail hour that is in full view of The Grand Garden. (East Side; seats 240 for ceremony and reception or 300 for reception only).

Winter is a magical time to get married at the Arboretum. Choose the Ginkgo Room, set amid frosted conifers and a pristine, snow-covered lake, or the Thornhill Education Center, with its warm and inviting rooms.
