Make a lasting impression with an event held in the Children’s Garden at The Morton Arboretum. 

The upper deck of the Children’s Garden picnic area can be reserved for parties (up to 50 people or the mandated gathering limits in effect at the time of the event) from April through October. Party reservation includes admission to the Arboretum for party guests, use of the picnic space for two hours (10 a.m. to noon or 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.), and optional party activities for an additional fee. Outdoor party hosts may bring their own food (no deliveries allowed).

Basic Party Rental Rates

Weekends and holidays: $325 member, $400 guest

Weekdays: $265 member, $325 guest

Add-on Activities

An optional 30-minute themed activity led by a Children’s Garden staff member. Spring/Summer themes are available April through September. 

Themes include:

  • Gardens
  • Bugs and Insects
  • Trees

Activity cost: $100
