With the Arboretum’s senior horticulturist Rachel White, get to know the plants and cultivars that make up the different thematic sections and outdoor garden rooms of The Grand Garden’s spectacular displays.
In this single-session course, students will explore ideas for garden plant selection, get expert garden maintenance advice, and find out what it takes to maintain The Grand Garden’s magnificent landscape.
The class will discuss plant combinations in the classroom then walk through The Grand Garden to discuss the plants if weather permits.
