Join us for a cozy online art workshop where you’ll create winter-themed notecards using watercolor techniques. Learn simple ways to paint snowy scenes, evergreens, and seasonal details, then turn your artwork into beautiful handmade cards to share with friends and family.

Carrie Carlson, artist

Carrie Carlson earned an MFA in scientific illustration at the University of Michigan and an MA in printmaking from Governors State University. She is a full-time high school art teacher. In her free time, she loves to fill up travel sketchbooks and grow a rowdy garden.

What to Know

Please have the following supplies ready when logging in to the workshop:

  • Watercolor cards (3 ½ x 4 ½) or larger watercolor paper cut down to notecard size
  • Watercolor paints—any set will work
  • Brushes
  • Bowl of water
  • Paper towels
  • Pencil
  • Optional: masking tape, salt for creating texture
