Experience the Zen of tea. The practice of drinking tea originated in China, using the leaves of the Camellia shrub. Cultural educator Yvonne Wolf will share about the origin of tea, its role in East Asian social interactions, and its many health benefits. With a demonstration of two varieties of Chinese tea, including a decaffeinated option, participants will engage in the ritual of tea handling, teaware, and tea making, and enjoy a tasting session.

Yvonne Wolf, cultural educator

Educator Yvonne Wolf makes Chinese and East Asian culture accessible and relatable to a wider audience. She speaks at libraries, museums, and community centers about East Asian arts, culture, and people. As an HR trainer, Yvonne has lived in four countries, visited over 25 countries, speaks three languages (English, Chinese (Mandarin), Danish), and has studied three others (Spanish, Japanese, and Greek).
