This watercolor class will begin in The Morton Arboretum’s Fragrance Garden, observing and sketching pollinators at work. Then, we’ll return to the classroom to continue drawing and painting our subject.
Under the guidance from the instructor, participants will focus on essential watercolor techniques such as:
- Color mixing and blending
- Color washes using wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry painting techniques
- Color layering, brushwork, and composition
