Know Before You Go:
This is a 2 ½ hour program and a total walk of approximately 1 1/2 miles. This walking tour will start next to the Hallow sculpture at Meadow Lake and proceed by chipped trail and short drive to various points across the Arboretum. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes, and bring water during this hike.
Arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the program. Park at the Main Parking Lot and pick up a map at the Visitor Center. Meet Daniel next to the Hallow sculpture beside Meadow Lake at 1:00 p.m. The group will walk together by chipped trail and over grass to see the various sculptures, passing by Parking Lot 5 and Parking Lot 18. After this first portion of the tour, walk back to the Main Parking lot, hop back in your car, drive to Parking Lot 21, and meet Daniel on the lawn in front of the Thornhill Picnic Shelter. He will then lead you to the last two installations.
Participants must abide by the Arboretum’s safety guidelines while participating in this program.
