Attend an open house for educators at The Morton Arboretum to discover and explore a variety of STEM resources for teachers and students. On Tuesday, August 20, the Educator Open House will host a number of local STEM resources, museums, and organizations that can support your students’ learning this school year. Connect with other K–12 STEM professionals in DuPage, Cook, Kane, and Will counties and uncover resources to bring science education to life in your classroom.
Attendees may arrive any time between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to review resources while connecting with local experts.
If you are an exhibitor and would like to have a table at this event, please submit an Exhibitor Form by Friday, July 12.
Event Details
Educators may sign up for 30-minute guided hikes on the Arboretum’s West Side trails to preview field trip activities. Hikes will take place between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. and depart from the Thornhill Education Center. To sign up for a guided hike, select your preferred time on the open house registration form.

Registration for the Educator Open House opens Monday, June 17.
Educators: Free with advance registration; Arboretum admission included at no cost
Accompanying guests: Free with advance registration; must purchase Arboretum admission
Space is limited; all attendees must register in advance to reserve a place at the open house.
Educators may attend without paying Arboretum general admission.
Accompanying guests who are not educators may also attend, but must purchase Arboretum general admission for Tuesday, August 20.
