The Benefits of Trees: How Trees Support Community Health

Learn how trees and people can thrive together in this engaging presentation.

Content Detail

We have all heard that trees are good for the environment, but did you know that trees provide both direct and indirect benefits to your personal health and your community’s resilience?

Learn more about the relationship between trees and urban heat, air quality, stormwater retention, property values, and even mental and physical health. Explore the diversity of our urban forests, learn about challenges in urban forestry, and discover how the Chicago Region Trees Initiative works to support healthy trees and resilient communities in our region.
