An all-white garden, or moon garden, comes to life at dusk. Mysterious and ethereal, the moon garden begins to glow as the intense reds, oranges, blues, and purples of other flowers fade into the night. Discover how to take your garden up a notch by including key features—fragrant plants, fire, water, and lighting—that can create exquisite settings.
During this program, author and horticulturist Nina Koziol will explore
- elements that enhance a landscape for nighttime enjoyment,
- key plants that contribute to an evening garden, and
- the selection and placement of hardscape features.
After the program, enjoy a guided walk through The Celebration Garden to experience it at dusk.
Copies of Nina Koziol’s new book, White Gardens: Creating Magnificent Moonlight Spaces, will be available for purchase at the program.
This program meets in person at the Arboretum.
