Fall is an ideal time to plant bulbs for next spring. Arboretum horticulturist Kat Haberman will share basic design techniques to create a lively bulb garden using crocuses, tulips, daffodils, and lesser known bulbs.
In this gardening class, participants will learn how to:
- select reliable and less common bulbs that will make your garden shine throughout the spring
- incorporate bulb design techniques to your garden
- plant and care for your plants
- dig up and store bulbs for future use.
This class will give you practical information and plenty of inspiration to brighten up your home with fresh and colorful flowers.
Participants will be able to shop at the Arboretum’s Annual Bulb Sale to carry out their garden design.
This program meets in person at the Arboretum.
