LISLE, Ill. (Nov. 7, 2025) – The Morton Arboretum has been named one of Chicago’s Top Workplaces by the Chicago Tribune for the fifth consecutive year. The recognition is based solely on employee feedback gathered through an anonymous third-party survey conducted by Energage, which measures employee engagement and key cultural drivers critical to organizational success, including values, connection and appreciation. This honor highlights the Arboretum’s ongoing commitment to creating a supportive, inclusive and engaging workplace where employees feel valued and empowered.
“Being named a Top Workplace for the fifth year in a row reflects the energy and commitment of our talented staff,” said Arboretum President and CEO Jill Koski. “Their innovation and collaboration are what make The Morton Arboretum a remarkable place to work and grow. We are delighted for our full team to share this recognition for fostering a supportive culture centered on our mission.”
In addition to the regional Top Workplace recognition by the Chicago Tribune, the Arboretum recently received four separate national cultural awards specifically from the Top Workplaces organization for Employee Appreciation, Professional Development, Employee Well-Being and Woman-Led Organization. This recognition reflects the Arboretum’s people-first culture that fosters growth, wellness and meaningful recognition for all employees.
The Arboretum also received national Top Workplace awards earlier in 2025, including recognition as one of USA TODAY’s Top Workplaces and Energage’s Top Workplaces for Hospitality, celebrating excellence in the cultural attractions sector.
