Daniana del Desierto Californiana

Established in 2019 in Baja California Sur, Mexico, Damiana del Desierto Californiana harvests and processes the native damiana plant (Turnera diffusa)—a low-growing shrub characterized by fragrant leaves and small yellow flowers—for use in unique artisanal products such as soaps, bath bombs, and candles.

The woman-owned business provides employment in the area, helping to improve individuals’ household economies. In using damiana in its products, the company also preserves the customs and traditions of the local people, who have long harvested the plant for restorative purposes.

Ingredients: organic honey, oats, damiana extract, natural palm oil, natural coconut oil.
