Come celebrate LGBTQ+ families at Family Pride Night on Thursday, June 27! It’s the perfect occasion for families to come together and appreciate LGBTQ+ identities in the blooming gardens of The Morton Arboretum.
The Children’s Garden will be open until 7:30 p.m. to host arts and crafts throughout the evening, and younger children will enjoy live music and storytelling from children’s entertainer Todd Downing at 5:00 and 6:00 p.m.
In The Gerard T. Donnelly Grand Garden, older kids can enjoy bowling activities from Out Bowling League throughout the evening and performances by Lakeside Pride Music Ensemble at 5:45 and 7:15 p.m.
Community Partners
This event is offered in partnership with PFLAG, the nation’s largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them.
The Morton Arboretum is proud to partner with EQuality Downers Grove (EQDG), a nonprofit organization working toward an accepting and equitable environment for LGBTQ+ people through education, support, social action, and advocacy.
