Newton Tran, MS

Research Assistant II, Tree Root Biology

Content Detail

Newton uses varied instrumentation to understand the plant-water relations of ecologically and commercially significant plants.

Using instruments to monitor plants allows us to answer the basic question: “How much water does this plant use each day?” Newton hopes to complement his growing expertise in plant water relations by further developing his skills working with electronics and computer technologies to share, explore, and communicate scientific research.
