Capture the quiet splendor of a summer morning on the prairie in this photography workshop with The Morton Arboretum. Summer on the prairie is a delightful experience, with blossoms, birds, fluttering insects, and reflective water drops. Mornings are relatively cool, and the light that dances on grasses is magical.
In this class, learn to use your DSLR camera to capture this morning magic using close-up photography. The first class will meet in the outdoor shelter on the Arboretum’s West Side. Then join your instructor in the prairie for a weekend field session. Share your images and questions online in the third session during a virtual critique and celebration of the prairie.
