Use colored glass to recreate the stunning white bark and orange leaves of the birch tree in autumn in your own mosaic.

Content Detail

Use colored glass to recreate the stunning white bark and orange leaves of the birch tree in autumn in your own mosaic.

Learn about the effects that transparency, light, and color create with mosaic on glass. Complete a 5″X 7″ framed, clear-glass substrate that will convey the same beauty and qualities of stained glass, but with mosaic techniques.

The class instruction covers cutting methods and strategies, proper adhesives, substrates, design and layout, and grouting. Use of tools and colored glass are included. Some specialty glass pieces and tools will also be available for purchase.

Bring in rough sketches and ideas to class, and there will also be several patterns available if you prefer to choose from them.
