Tap into your creative side with an introductory painting workshop at The Morton Arboretum on nature art. No experience is necessary! Mix and blend colors to create a watercolor painting of a delicate spring flower in bloom. Learn the basics of using watercolor under the encouraging guidance of your instructor. 

This class is a fun and popular program for those who are curious to try something new. All supplies are included.

This program meets in person at the Arboretum.

Instructor: Jill Adzia

Health and Safety: Program participants must abide by the Arboretum’s health and safety guidelines. Guidelines are subject to change, so please check back frequently.

Jill Adzia, artist and educator

Jill Adzia has been teaching art classes since 2007 and received certification from The Morton Arboretum in botanical art and illustration in 2001. She began blending art and nature study at a young age, taught by her artist mother, Ruth. She is past president (2010 to 2012) and active board member of the Nature Artists’ Guild. She continues to exhibit and demonstrate at shows and events and is represented in private collections throughout the United States and in Normandy, France.
