The Morton Arboretum has grown and flourished for 100 years with the generous help of donors who care about trees and people. There are many ways for you to be a part of the Arboretum’s second century.

The Grand Garden

The Arboretum is celebrating 100 years of planting and protecting trees for a greener, healthier, and more beautiful world. The Gerard T. Donnelly Grand Garden is now open. The garden will be a central new attraction for gathering and enjoyment during the Arboretum’s second century, showcasing the beauty and diversity of plants alongside delightful water features and spaces for celebration and joy.

Centennial Tree Planting Initiative

The Arboretum will plant more than 3,000 trees throughout the seven-county Chicago region. Thanks to generous support, this centennial-specific endeavor is fully funded; however, donations are needed to fund ongoing, annual tree-planting efforts through the Chicago Region Trees Initiative.
